
About Abe
Abe is the owner of multiple businesses and is a well-known member of Central Virginia's business community. With bachelor's degrees in Art and English, a Masters in Business, an Ed.S. in Education, and a background in nonprofit management and economic development, Abe is doing what he can to positively impact his community.
Abe sold The White Hart Cafe at the end of 2017, after purchasing the closed business and breathing new life into it. He is also the former owner of Blackwater Coffee, and City Place Food & Company. Abe served as an instructor in the School of Business at Liberty University for six years, is a recipient of "Lynchburg's Top 20 under 40" award, and a graduate of the prestigious LEAD Virginia program. Abe served on the Alumni Board of Advisors at Albion College, (Albion, MI), the Board of Trustees at Passion Community Church, the Small Business Committee at the Lynchburg Regional Business Alliance, the Board of Advisors at the Lynchburg Symphony Orchestra, and on the Board of Directors for a number of local nonprofit organizations including CASA of Central Virginia, Horizon Behavioral Health, Bedford Area Chamber of Commerce, and Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
